KENNESAW, Ga. – Police are investigating the robbery of a bank inside of a Kroger in Kennesaw Monday.

According to Cobb County Police Sgt. Dana Pierce, a man entered the Fifth Third Bank, which is located inside of a Kroger on Cherokee Street, around 1 p.m. and gave a note to a teller demanding money.

After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled towards the rear of the property.

The suspect is described as being between 40 and 50 years old. He was wearing glasses, a dark colored ball cap and a blue stripe shirt. He acted as if he had a gun.
