Woman wrote fake loans to pay personal debt | Crime
KENNESAW, Ga. -- A 48-year-old Tiger, Ga. woman was arrested for stealing from her workplace and using the money to pay her personal debts, police said Tuesday.
Tracy Lorene Pratt was arrested Monday and charged with theft by deception, according to Kennesaw Police spokesman Scott Luther.
Pratt worked at Just Cash on North Cobb Parkway in Kennesaw, where Luther said she wrote fake loans for her debts. An audit of the business revealed that Pratt took about $131,000 from Just Cash between early 2010 and June 2012, Luther said.
Pratt is being held without bond in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
