Under Armour Athlete of the Week Candidates: Week 6

KENNESAW, GA -- This week's candidates for the Under Armour Athlete of the Week accounted for over 650 yards of total offense and 13 touchdowns. Which player is most deserving of the award? You decide

North Cobb Christian's Corey Harris helped his team notch its second victory over St. Francis last Friday. Harris rushed for 218 yards, had 76 receiving yards, and accounted for four total touchdowns.

Harris' effort helped North Cobb Christian score 46 points, the most in the school's history.

In 5A, Collins Hill's Taylor Heinicke has had several noteworthy performances this season, but his six-touchdown effort against Duluth may be his best work yet. The Eagle quarterback completed 19 of 24 passes for 318 yards and those six scores.

Heinicke's stellar game came at a good time for Collins Hill. With Norcross, North Gwinnett, and Peachtree Ridge undefeated in Region 7-5A, the Eagles needed a region win to get the playoff train rolling. Collins Hill's victory also halted a three-game losing streak.

Tucker's N'Quan Maggett helped his team to another big win. After starting out 4-0, the only thing that could keep Tucker from winning last Friday was a power outage at the stadium for their Douglass-Atlanta game. The game was postponed until the next day.

That is when Maggett went to work. The running back carried the ball only three times, but certainly made his touches count. He accounted for 64 yards and three touchdowns.
