The Impossible 5K is Off and Running in Kennesaw | Events
KENNESAW, GA -- People say that runners are crazy, and they're going to prove it on Sunday, Nov. 7 by running the Impossible 5K . . . in the middle of the night.
The Impossible 5K is the first annual Daylight Savings Time road race. Runners will take off from the starting line just before the clock rolls back and, therefore, cross the finish line "before" they started.
The race will begin at 1:50 a.m. on Nov. 7 at Town Center Mall (400 Ernest W. Barrett Parkway, Kennesaw, 30144). The course is two times around the inner loop of the mall, making it flat, well-lit and free of traffic.
The registration fee for the Impossible 5K is $20 before Nov 2. and $25 after. All proceeds from the race will benefit 65 Roses, an affiliate of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
