COBB COUNTY, Ga. -- An investigation is underway into what caused a house to catch fire in Kennesaw Monday morning.
The fire happened at 272 Heck Road.
Cobb County Fire spokesperson Dan Dupree said the call came in at 10:27 a.m. When they arrived on scene, the two-story house was fully engulfed. Fire crews battled the blaze from the outside due to a collapse hazard. One person evacuated the home with no injuries. It took firefighters about 40 minutes to put out the fire.
